Morning Depot pull-outs offer the only opportunity to photograph Dubai tram with the skyline of the Harbor-Marina district in the distance.
When pulling into service, trams follow the non-revenue Depot access line that is 2,7 km. in length.

An interesting fact: the total track length of the Dubai tram system is 17.8 km., out of which 5.4 km. is the non-revenue trackage. On weekdays trams pull out of the depot between 5:34-6:19 in the morning, the only period when photographs along the long depot access line can be made with relative daylight. Интересный факт: общая длина пути дубайского трамвая составляет 17,8 км, но при этом 5,4 км. из них - служебный путь. В будние дни трамваи выезжают из депо с 5:34 до 6:19 утра. С ума сойти - это при 6 вагонах более 3000 человек на вагон. Это очень много. Пример: междугородний троллейбус Махачкала - Каспийск 500 пассажиров, говорят что это хорошо. Сейчас скорее всего больше. Тегеран, БРТ. Гармошки автобусы Mercedes -Benz O 305G 3000 пассажиров/день. Автобусы забиты.
Астана. 51 Маршрут. Irisbus Citelis 18M. Более 2000 пассажиров/день. С пяти утра пассажиры чуть ли не выпадают из автобуса.

В случае с городом Дубай дело скорее всего в густонаселённом районе, туристах, пробки на дорогах.
Помню давно читал информацию что в тех городах СНГ, где зарплата зависит или зависела от выручки (план) на короткие маршруты трамвая попадали либо по очень хорошему блату либо по стажу. Как правило эти маршруты очень популярны, постоянно происходит ротация пассажиров.
В разных городах Европы, СНГ короткие маршруты автобуса, троллейбуса или трамвая бывают нередко очень и очень востребованы
